I live in Florida and freshwater fish most of the year, but I do enjoy surf fishing when I make it to the beach in the spring and summer. Here, I share pics of what I catch and talk about the gear I used and the overall experience.

Unexpected Chunky Largemouth Bass

 Pre spawn is in full affect I caught this chunky bass at the golf course on a Ugly Stik Dock Runner using a Piscifun Flame 2000 spinning reel with 8 lb monofilament. I had a Zman Green Pumpkin Goby Zinkerz Texas-rigged and was just bouncing it off the bottom. Supa nice catch!

Caught Two Nice Largemouth Bass On Bed

Started off slow, but I ended the night with two solid bass. I’d been out fishing for about two hours, and finally, closer to 6 PM, I caught these two Largemouth Bass. I was using my 7' Ozark Trail rod and reel combo from Walmart (it’s an awesome setup), and once again, the Zman Zinkerz in Green Pumpkin Goby , Texas-rigged, did the trick — though I caught one wacky-rigged too.
